Editor/Copy Editor/Fact-Checking Experience

My passion for proper punctuation, grammar, and style has permeated my career from day one, beginning in a sixth-grade classroom with the introduction of a unit on punctuation and writing.

I moved from the classroom to the newsroom, where I have copyedited and line edited print publications and online content. At the same time, I founded AMS/A.Siempelkamp Editorial Services which provides freelance copyediting services to writers, such as Lise Funderburg and Katie Roiphe.  

 

And always, The Chicago Manual of Style has been, and is today, on my desk within easy reach.
